Jewel of Nizam located at a famous star hotel in Masab Tank, it is styled quite classically and tastefully. You would love seating, live music, lighting, crowd, fantastic place for a quiet time with your date. You have option to try the buffet but all things considered buffet never gets enough love from Chef, so I stayed away in fact it was the best decision that I took in quite some time.
Ordered Biryani, it came in a nice pot served hot, Rice was extra long basmati, sprinkled generously with fried onion, and it had nice succulent mutton pieces, this is just the right way of cooking mutton for a Biryani. I guess this Biryani stands out as one of the best Biryani's served in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, being at star hotel price was steep but I would say this was just worth it. I hear this place was purposefully named as the Jewel of Nizam, the legend is Biryani recipe has origins from the erstwhile ruler of Hyderabad.
